Duff studied music and film at the University of North Texas. He has been an engineer at East Side Sound since 2015 and has run the videography department at the studio with his hetero partner Jeremy Sauber since 2020. Duff has recorded and/or filmed artists such as Alex Skolnik, Chris Parker, Monty Alexander, Duduka Da Fonseca, Vijay Iyer, Rufus Reid, and Chihiro Yamanaka.
