In 1972, Lou founded and built the original East Side Sound from the ground up. He has worked as an engineer and mixer for over 50 years with such artists as Jon Lucien, Tommy Flanagan, Grady Tate, Norman Hedman, Steve Torre, Ray Drummond, Cedar Walton, Will Lee, Kenny Drew Jr, Robin Eubanks, Duane Eubanks, Louis Hayes, Chico Freeman, Kenny Barron, Randy Brecker, Art Farmer, Mark Carey, Frank Foster, Alex Foster, Horace Tapscott, T.M.
